Welcome to Waxwing Art Works, a new art gallery and workshop space in downtown Charlottesville!
Please join us for our first group show - Small Works! This show features 16 artists from all across Virginia, working in a range of media from painting to ceramic and fiber to collage!
It has been a dream of mine to open an art gallery some day and during the search for studio space for myself, I found this gem in the Main Street Market building at 416-420 W Main St! I will be working here on my art projects during the week, as well as hosting my own workshops and those by visiting artists - but the super exciting element is the beautiful wall space that allows me to exhibit work. I can’t wait to finalize the show calendar and bring loads of amazing talent to this space…stay tuned for more info, in the meantime, swing by and say hello!
